November 7, 2011 - Pike Conference 2011
This years Pike conference was held at Roxen's offices in
Linköping, Sweden November 3 to November 5. Participants
joined from Europe and North America. Among the Topics
discussed where a new maintainer for pike releases, a change
in the release versioning, and the new garbage collector as
part of the multi-cpu support that is being worked on.

August 29, 2006 - Pike Conference 2006

June 20, 2006 - Opera Mini uses Pike
The 2.0 release of
Opera Mini includes a "third parties" page that names Pike as one of the components. At a technical presentation at Linköping University earlier this year it was revealed that the Opera Mini server software is written in Pike.

We now have two Master's Theses students working on Pike:
Andreas Finnman,
who is busy writing documentation for the C module APIs, and
Andreas Pettersson,
who is going to implement some ADTs.
July 1, 2002 - Roxen Internet Software donates 14 machines
from the former
AutoBuild cluster to the
Pike Xenofarm project.
These machines will be used for automated Pike regression
testing within the
RISE project.
June 26, 2002 - Pike changes maintainer
